Romford Bowling Club was founded in 1898 (Probably the oldest bowling club in Essex) but certainly one of the oldest sports club in Havering

​

Romford Bowling Club  is a friendly mixed lawn bowls club.

The club caters for all levels of skill and experience with members ranging from beginners to international bowlers.

For the experience bowler we offer and extensive fixture list fielding a variety of Men's and Ladies teams into 5No local leagues as well as County and National Competitions 

​

For the more social bowlers we offer various friendly games and matches

​

We have Professional Coaching with are EBCS and Coach Bowls qualified Coaches also to assist and help you with your game. To assist all coaches within other clubs we also have a Coaching Mentor to help with their coaching 

​

​

We are keen to encourage all new and experienced bowlers of all abilities from Romford and the surrounding area

​

Members will also have access  to all the facilities including a comfortable bar in which to celebrate wins, forget defeats or simply pass the time of day 

​

Throughout the year the club organises a wide range of social events i.e. music nights , racing nights, social outings including our annual presentation dinner

​
